🎮 Join AEGIS Game Studios as a Community Manager! 🎮

Hello there! 👋

AEGIS Game Studios is on the lookout for a Community Manager to join as a Game Master. If you’ve got a knack for bringing people together, fostering positive vibes, and keeping conversations engaging — and you love gaming — this could be your thing.

🌟 About the Role:

As a Community Manager, you’ll spend your time growing, engaging, and managing the AEGIS community. You’ll be the face of our studio across platforms like Discord, YouTube, and other social spaces where our players hang out.

This is a voluntary role (for now) — we know that’s not always what you want to hear, but we want to be upfront about it. AEGIS Game Studios is still in the early stages, but we’re growing, and there’s potential for this to become a paid role as things progress.

Being part of a small indie team means you won’t just be another cog in the machine — your work will have a genuine impact. As the ‘Community Team’ is new in its inception, you’ll have the chance to shape the role and culture of this small team.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing:

👉 Building and Managing a Welcoming Community

  • Foster a friendly and engaging environment where players feel valued.
  • Encourage positive interactions and uphold community standards.
  • Be the go-to person for community support, whether that’s answering questions, resolving disputes, or just keeping the vibes strong.

👉 Content & Engagement

  • Host community events, discussions, and activities to keep things fresh and fun.
  • Work with the media team to share updates, announcements, and exciting content.
  • Create engaging posts, polls, and discussions that keep players coming back.

👉 Moderation & Communication

  • Help maintain a positive and respectful environment in Discord and other platforms.
  • Work alongside moderators to ensure the community stays safe and inclusive.
  • Relay player feedback to the team and help shape the future of AEGIS with insights from the community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in community management, moderation, or a strong drive to learn.
  • A genuine love for gaming (bonus points if you’re into MMORPG or point & click games).
  • Great communication skills — you know how to engage people in conversation.
  • Comfortable working with Christian-themed media — our faith is at the heart of what we do.
  • Passion for creating an inclusive and welcoming space for gamers.

🎯 Is This For Me?

Do some, many or all of these sound like you? Here’s an interests list. You’re not trying to match them all, this is more like a ‘footprint’. If it doesn’t sound like you, that’s ok!

  • You love bringing people together and making spaces feel welcoming.
  • You enjoy keeping conversations fun, engaging, and on track.
  • You know how to create hype around games, events, and updates.
  • You’re comfortable with social media trends and platforms like Discord, YouTube, and Twitter.
  • You have experience with (or are interested in) moderation and community management.
  • You can spot and resolve issues before they become problems.
  • You love online gaming communities and understand what makes them thrive.
  • You’ve spent way too much time on a game’s Discord server.
  • You get why MMORPG players are ‘built different’.
  • You understand game / nerd culture and know how to tap into it.
  • You’re excited about shaping the voice of a growing gaming community.
  • You know how to communicate with gamers — because you are one.

🚀 Why AEGIS?

We’re a small Christian indie studio — yeah, not exactly something you read every day. We’re on a mission to bring scripture-influenced games to gamers all around the world. Not only as a form of entertainment, but as a mission to bring them the love and light of Jesus Christ.

Due to the cosy nature of the studio, it means you’ll have more creative freedom and influence than you would in larger studios. Your work won’t get lost in a sea of corporate noise — it’ll shape how people see and connect with AEGIS.

Since we’re small, we’re upfront about this being a voluntary role (for now). But if you’re looking to build experience, grow your skills, and be part of a passionate team making cool things — this is it.

🎯 How to Get Involved:

Feeling inspired? Want to help shape the AEGIS community? Shoot us a message at opportunities@outreach.aegisgamestudios.co.uk — tell us a bit about yourself and maybe share some of your experience!

We’re building something special here — and we’d love for you to be part of it.

🎮 Join AEGIS Game Studios as a Digital Media Producer! 🎮

Hello there! 👋

AEGIS Game Studios is on the lookout for a Digital Media Producer to join as a Game Master. If you’ve got a knack for making things look awesome / are into graphic art — whether it’s game banners, thumbnails, or short-form videos — and you love gaming, this could be your thing.

🌟 About the Role:

As a Digital Media Producer, you’ll spend your time designing and producing content to post on social media platforms. Your designs and videos will define the vibe of AEGIS across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Discord, and our own platforms.

This is a voluntary role (for now) — we know that’s not what you always like to hear, but we want to be upfront about it. AEGIS Game Studios is still in the early stages, but we’re growing, and there’s potential for this to become a paid role as things progress.

Being part of a small indie team means you won’t just be another cog in the machine — your work will have a genuine impact. As the ‘Media Team’ is new in its inception, you’ll have the chance to shape the role and culture of this small team.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing:

👉 Graphic Design & Media Creation

  • Design eye-catching banners, thumbnails, and graphics using tools like Adobe Suite.
  • Keep the AEGIS vibe consistent across all platforms — professional but with a touch of indie charm.
  • Create fun content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Discord — no boring corporate jargon here.

👉 Video Content Production

  • Make 30–60 second videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Showcase the AEGIS journey — game dev highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, lore deep dives and more with longer-form videos.
  • Bring your storytelling skills to life in a way that connects with our small, but growing community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrable skills with graphic design and video editing — or a strong drive to learn. We’re not looking for the best person, we’re looking for the right person.
  • A genuine love for gaming (bonus points if you’re into MMORPG or point & click games).
  • Creative instincts and an eye for detail — if you know what makes a thumbnail pop, you’re halfway there.
  • Comfortable working with Christian-themed media — our faith is at the heart of what we do.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to a mission where your work actually matters.

🎯 Is This For Me?

Do some, many or all of these sound like you? Here’s an interests list. You’re not trying to match them all, this is more like a ‘foot print’. If it doesn’t sound like you, that’s ok!

  • You love creating content — videos, graphics, the whole deal.
  • You’ve got a creative eye for design and know what grabs attention.
  • You understand what makes people click — visuals, timing, and tone.
  • You’re comfortable with social media trends and platforms like Discord, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • You know how to tell a story through video and graphics.
  • You can spot a good thumbnail from a mile away (and know how to make one).
  • You’re familiar with basic video editing — or willing to learn.
  • You know how to cut down long content into short, engaging clips.
  • You enjoy experimenting with new styles and formats.
  • You understand consistency — branding matters.
  • You’ve got a sense of humour and know how to make content fun.
  • You’re comfortable with feedback and tweaking your work to make it better.
  • You know how to adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
  • You’re passionate about gaming and creative storytelling.
  • You’ve sunk more hours into an MMORPG than you’d care to admit.
  • You know the thrill of a boss fight — and the pain of a wipe.
  • You can spot a good loot drop without even looking.
  • You get why MMORPG players are ‘built different’.
  • You understand game / nerd culture and know how to tap into it.
  • You’re excited about shaping the voice of a growing gaming community.
  • You know how to communicate with gamers — because you are one.
